Lesley graduated from Bath Academy of Art in Graphic Design and Illustration. She has worked in a Design consultancy in London and moved on to a Senior Designer Post at the Open University in Milton Keynes to undertake the designs for the covers and internal designs of the distance learning material for students. It also included other publications such as leaflets, posters and exhibitions.
She left the Open University to set up a degree course in graphic design at Milton Keynes College.. The work involved establishing the corporate style in all the publications including posters, leaflets, college magazines and teaching materials. During this time She graduated from the University of Northampton with a Masters Degree in print making
She retired and continued to teach on a part-time basis at University.
Now fully retired she sculpts busts in clay also working in 2D with oils, pastels and acrylics to produce portraits and landscapes. She often uses digital skills to enhance her finished artwork taking it to a different creative direction.
